The Pilates method requires attention to form and precision that is best learned in a private session. During your private sessions you will learn the most effective way to execute each exercise as well as how to modify certain exercises for your body. Your instructor customizes your Pilates program according to your goals, current fitness level, injuries, and addresses any other concerns you may have.
If you are new to Pilates, it is highly recommended that you start with at least 3 private sessions before joining a group class. During your private sessions your instructor will familiarize you with the Pilates exercises and equipment, and you will discover which exercises you may need to modify.
